ClassGraphic In this course you will learn methods that will enable you to sketch a portrait with a satisfying likeness very rapidly. Using sticks of charcoal and conte crayons, Tom Martino, your instructor will demonstrate the ease and use of these materials in developing a likeness. In addition, Tom will demonstrate how portability of these materials allows one to sketch any subject. This course is suitable for all skill levels in drawing.

Please read:  Assignment for 1st class session: Obtain the following materials: (1) vine charcoal, soft and medium (2) a drawing pad, 11x14, at least 70 lb weight. Toned paper--gray or tan if you can find it. (3) a small set of Conte crayons with the colors black, white, sanguine, and bistre (4) a kneaded eraser ( a soft, pliable eraser usually gray in color...
