Please read:  Note: This is an 80-minute walking tour on sidewalks and streets in historic Newport, which can be uneven and may include cobblestones. Wear comfortable, sturdy footwear to navigate these areas safely.

Metered street parking is available around Washington Square and throughout downtown Newport. The Mary Street Parking Lot, which is a self-pay lot, is a short walk to the tour departure point. There is also a paid parking lot adjacent to the Museum of Newport History on Thames Street. Staff at the museum can validate parking in this lot for one hour.
