ClassGraphic In part 2 of Foreign Film Classics, we have eight more extraordinary films: Akira Kurosawa’s Yojimbo, Yasujiro Ozu’s classic Tokyo Story, Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth, Alain Resnais’ landmark film Hiroshima Mon Amour, Andrei Tarkovsky’s Mirror, Ingmar Bergman’s masterpiece Persona, Tom Tykwer’s Run, Lola, Run, and Kenji Mizoguchi Sansho’s The Bailiff. All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles. Reviews of the films and the director’s biographies will be made available the week before each showing. They are offered to those who want a deeper understanding of the director and the film before seeing it.
