Colonial Newport: A Walking Tour

ClassGraphic This walking tour includes stops at Washington Square, White Horse Tavern, the Quaker Meeting House, the 1697 Wanton-Lyman-Hazard House (the oldest house still standing), the oldest synagogue in America, the Colony House, burial/gravestones at Trinity Church, and Queen Anne Square, to name a few. Information on a meeting spot and parking will be sent to those who register.

Please read:  Note: All participants in off-site classes are required to transport themselves to all locations and fill out an Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability Form.
  • The class will meet at Perrotti Park at 1:45PM. For more information on the park, Click Here.
  • The tour begins promptly at 2:00PM.
  • Look for instructor Ken Johnson (he is tall) who will be waiting on the concrete pad located in the center of the park.

    • Parking: There is metered street parking as well as several lots available. For more information on parking click: here.
