ClassGraphic This two-part series offers a comprehensive exploration of cancer for non-medical audiences. In session 1, Understanding Cancer, Dr. Ron Peck, M.D., will explain the biology of cancer, common cancer types, risk factors, screening approaches, and what goes into a new cancer diagnosis. Session 2, Navigating Cancer Care, will provide practical guidance for patients and caregivers, including how to evaluate treatment options, understand clinical trials, communicate with doctors to best advocate for themselves, and how best to support loved ones who were just given a new cancer diagnosis or are living with cancer.
