« back to classes page
ClassGraphic The original pilgrimage, which traverses northern Spain from France to Santiago, began in the 9th century, and now hosts nearly 500,000 pilgrims each year. Whether you walk all or part of the Camino for physical, spiritual, or religious reasons, this journey offers transformational and affordable opportunities for nearly all ages.

We’ll learn about the historical origins of the Camino, its myths and legends, and why it continues to grow each year. We’ll get familiar with the diverse regions, languages, and cuisine pilgrims experience on the 35-day journey. Karen and her husband, Rich, have walked the Camino every year, except 2020, since 2014. Karen is excited to share her wealth of firsthand knowledge, experiences, and practical suggestions to help you prepare for your own journey.
