ClassGraphic Author Anthony Doerr said, “We don’t write what we know exactly, but rather we write to know.” In this course, you will explore topics of mindfulness, wellbeing, and personal growth, using writing as your tool of discovery and expression. You will read poetry and stories, write, and share about the topic of the week, reflecting on your own practices of gratitude, self-compassion, and more in the process. You will grow as a person and as a writer, as you learn about writing devices such as metaphor, refrains, and forms of poetry. This course is for new and experienced writers alike—no prior writing experience required.
