ClassGraphic Sepsis is as dangerous as a heart attack or stroke and requires prompt treatment. Sepsis occurs when the immune system overreacts to any type of infection. This class will combine medical information and videotaped testimonies of people affected by sepsis to convey what sepsis is, who is most at risk, how people can protect themselves, and resources for survivors. It will provide local and national resources for more information.
