ClassGraphic John Huston wrote the screenplays for most of the 37 feature films he directed, many of which are today considered classics. Son of actor Walter Huston, his directorial debut came with The Maltese Falcon, which despite its small budget became a hit. In this class, we will view and discuss six of his great movies: The Maltese Falcon, Key Largo, The Man Who Would be King, The Asphalt Jungle, The African Queen, and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
