ClassGraphic In a split second someone can travel from their life to a second life as a survivor of a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Joyce will share the experience of her husband, Ralph B. Lilly, M.D., an associate professor at Brown University and neurobehavioral specialist who survived his own TBI in 1980 and went on to treat thousands of brain-injury survivors. His resilience and dedication as well as his deep understanding of the tragedies and terrors of survivors and their families is uplifting and encouraging. Joyce will also discuss her own experience with the support and love needed to shepherd survivors through the many problems and the vast unknown of what happens when your brain is disrupted.
