The History and Future of Automobiles

We will review the history of automobile development from steam engines to internal combustion engines (both 2- and 4-cycle engines) to today’s electric vehicles. As we go through the development process, we will examine which vehicles are most sold today and which vintage models are most sought after. And we’ll consider what might lie ahead for the future of automobiles, including electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and automatous self-driving vehicles.
