ClassGraphic Thought to be one of Shakespeare’s last plays, "The Tempest" is a story about a shipwreck, magic, relationships, freedom and forgiveness. We will discuss the play, its characters, staging, and themes including the physical and emotional storms of life. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend "La Tempestad — The Tempest" on Sunday, March 30 at Trinity Rep. The live theater production combines the Bard’s classic English, translated Spanish dialogue, and projected subtitles so it can be understood by all. The class will discuss the performance during the final class session.
