Using many audiovisuals, let's analyze the best ones for their cultural significance, their role within the movie itself, their lyrics and memorability. Great songs like “Moon River,” “As Time Goes By,” “Mrs. Robinson,” and “My Heart will Go On” set a tone or mood, define character, advance plot, and/or express the film’s themes in a manner that elevates the art of moviemaking. These songs have also captured the nation’s heart and resonate across time.
