Visiting the Greek Islands

ID : 1318
« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Greece has about 200 inhabited islands and thousands of uninhabited ones, some so small they do not even make the maps. In addition to viewing some breathtaking landscapes and architecture, learn more about the rich history, diverse culture, and mythology of a few of these ancient homes of the gods. Explore Mykonos and Santorini, among the most visited and photographed islands in the world. Then, visit Rhodes (a must for history buffs) and Crete with its Minoan culture. Last, two of the lesser known Cyclades, Naxos and Paros. Whether you have been able to visit the isles yourself or they are on your bucket list, you'll find this a pleasant  interlude as you are gearing up for a New England winter.
