Uncover your family’s past and strengthen your research skills in this four-session, hands-on genealogy course designed for beginners and intermediate researchers. Participants will be guided through the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS) to conduct effective, reliable research using a wide range of sources—including vital records, census data, probate and land documents, and DNA test results. The course explores leading-edge analysis tools and addresses ethical and privacy considerations related to consumer DNA testing. Participants will learn to develop targeted research questions, evaluate sources, interpret genetic matches, and construct sound research plans
