ClassGraphic The need to transmit information securely has existed for centuries. Ciphers and codes were developed to convey military information without the enemy’s knowledge. Today, codes identify products at the grocery store and help protect our privacy when we use credit cards. We will explore a brief history of encryption and examine examples such as the Caesar cipher, the Navajo Code Talkers, and credit card security codes. Come learn how to decipher secret messages!
